It will be a bustling New Year with fireworks, concerts, and street flavors. As per the government’s decision, the New Year countdown celebration will continue with fireworks displays. The excitement will kick off from Christmas and peak with an extraordinary music performance on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Central Festival will welcome visitors with live music performances, fire shows, and special discounts.
In addition, boat tours running until 1 a.m. and various restaurants’ and bars’ special New Year’s programs will accompany this magnificent celebration. You’ll not only enjoy the illuminated sky with various fireworks but also relish numerous stands along the beach road offering food, consumer goods, and memorable souvenirs. Pattaya plans to celebrate New Year’s Eve with fireworks on December 31st. In addition to this, entertainment venues are allowed to operate until 4 a.m. starting from December 15th. On January 1, 2024, it is preparing to celebrate the New Year with extended working hours until 6 a.m.
Where will Pattaya celebrate New Year’s Eve?
The New Year celebrations will take place on a national scale in both Pattaya and Koh Larn. Pattaya will conduct its main activities and events at the Bali Hai Pier. A diverse program featuring both international and Thai music will be showcased on the stage set up at the pier. Additionally, for families and groups of friends, fun activities and games will be organized at the pier to ensure everyone enjoys the entertainment. The New Year celebrations will continue at full speed along the Beach Road apart from the pier.

To ensure a smooth New Year’s celebration, essential arrangements will cover security, medical support, emergency services, cleanliness, and quality assurance checks for food and beverages. Additionally, specific measures have been established to enhance security during the celebration and facilitate a seamless flow. Traffic management strategies have been identified for this purpose, and the entirety of Pattaya Beach will be closed to traffic as part of these measures. Furthermore, checkpoints will be set up along the celebration area to conduct inspections. These efforts aim to guarantee the safety and security of both the local population and tourists throughout the festivities.
